I will admit, I ordered this knowing that I needed it, but not really wanting it. It's not something I was SO excited to open. My brown envelope came, but I knew I would have nothing to "show" for it. I didn't run to the mailbox. Then I put it on. Oh. Cozy. Then I put my Camilla on top. Oh, wow! No lumps or bumps! I then proceeded to try it with every dress I own, wool& or not. It's just perfect. That's it. Perfect! The straps are adjustable so I have a custom fit. I am TOTALLY excited because now I can get lighter colors without worrying about what is showing through thinner fabric. Fig, ochre, you will be mine! I got the vintage rose. I've read that some say they could wear the black as a dress. I would not. It definitely feels/looks like a slip to me.

My intent in purchasing the Roam slip was not to wear it under dresses necessarily, but to wear it as a “skirt” with a top or as “skirted leggings” with black Axis leggings. I’m thrilled to say that it is exactly what I was hoping for. I’m so excited to add this versatile piece to my Wool& wardrobe. I think it will definitely be one of the first items I pack (or wear) whenever and wherever I travel.

Warmly hugs your body to provide a great under layer for lighter gsm dresses. I find it allows my over dresses to appear more flowing. No need for bike shorts so increases comfort. I do not have the young, tight body to wear this as a stand alone dress.

This dress is great for travel and can be worn on it's own, under another dress for extra warmth, or over a long sleeve and leggings. I would love to see it in more fun colors for summer.

I’ve only had this slip a couple of weeks and we’re already great friends. I ordered a medium first, returned for a small. Small fits perfectly and I plan to wear as a dress in the summer.
